Souvenir from my friends

I got 2 souvenirs from my friends.
One of them is "Pineapple Pie" from my Taiwanese friend. Pineapple pie is famous as Taiwanese souvenir, I heard. The surface of this pie is crispy and inside is soft(Pineapple filling). It is little sweet for me but tasty.
Other is "Cod roe covered with kelp" from my Japanese friend. This is a kind of side dish for rice. I have never seen it in Japan but it looks delicious. I want to try tomorrow.

Vacation

My husband took a summer vacation and came to see me today. Unfortunately, my new semester will start next Monday. So, I do not have enough time to go out of town...
This time he brought some Japanese souvenir for me, such as sweets, books, medicine and portable pot. I like Japanese sweets very much and I am really happy to get them.

Souvenir Again !

My husband came to Albany on the way to San Francisco and Los Angels for business. He stayed only 2 nights but he brought Japanese souvenir for me, such as books, medicine and snacks. One of the snacks is "Cocco", which is famous in Shizuoka-prefecture and I like it very much. Those are a kind of steam ban but there are whip cream inside. This time, he bought plan one but there are some kinds of creams; strawberry, green tee and chocolate.
Because he stayed only 3 days and I had to go to my lab these 3 days, we did not enough time to talk. I was little sad... But he will have summer vacation in end of the August and will come to Albany again.

Japanese Souvenir

One of my friends returned to Albany last night and we met today. he brought many Japanese souvenir for me. I am soooo happy !!!

Souvenir

My husband went to Japan for business trip and came back today. I asked him some Japanese stuff; medicine, books, CD and sweets. Most Japanese products are able to got in Chinese or Korean supermarket but we can not get Japanese magazines and books easily in Albany. So, I am starved of Japanese books!

Pineapple Cake

One of my friends who is Taiwanese went back to Taiwan and returned to Albany this week. I met her today and would eat lunch together but she had a lot of homework because of her absent. So, we will eat dinner tomorrow. She game me a gift of Taiwan. It is Pineapple cake. I love it!!!!

Ramen

My husband's co-worker came to here this week. He game us a souvenir, which is "Ramen"!!! I saw some Japanese noodles in Asian market but I have never seen Japanese Ramen soup. I am so happy to get them. When will I eat them???
